La Petite Cachée
A Hidden Alpine Retreat
About La Petite Cachée
Tucked away among the trees, La Petite Cachée is a tranquil alpine escape, designed to help you relax, recharge, and reconnect. True to its name — “the little hidden” — this spacious chalet blends natural materials with large glass elements to bring the mountain scenery indoors, offering a light, airy atmosphere that feels immersed in the surrounding forests and peaks.
Arrival & Access
Your stay begins with convenience: three private off-street parking spaces await you, two of which are under cover for added protection. A charming wooden bridge leads you from the parking area into the heart of this alpine haven — a welcoming, family-orientated chalet filled with comfort and character.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
La Petite Cachée offers five beautifully appointed bedrooms:
Three double rooms
Two double/twin rooms, offering flexible sleeping arrangements
One of the twin/doubles includes a freestanding bath and sink, perfect for a quiet soak with views over the valley. Another is a spacious family room with an en-suite bathroom (including bath, shower, and loo) and a sofa bed. Two additional shower rooms are shared, each with a large shower, sink, and loo.
Every bedroom opens onto an outdoor terrace, offering panoramic views of snow-draped Méribel. In the late afternoon, the Saulire mountain glows pink with the setting sun. Heavy wooden shutters ensure deep, undisturbed sleep — you may want to set an alarm or risk sleeping far too well.
Living Spaces & Atmosphere
The heart of the chalet is its open-plan living area, ideal for family gatherings or peaceful evenings. Whether you’re curled up by the wood-burning stove, playing games, or enjoying the ever-changing view of the mountains through the vast windows, the space is designed to bring people together in comfort and calm.
Outdoor Spaces
The chalet boasts an abundance of outdoor space, including generous terraces, surrounding balconies, cosy seating, and a covered dining area. Perfect for morning coffees, al fresco meals, or evening drinks under the stars, the outdoor areas make the most of the stunning mountain backdrop.
Ski Access & Local Tips
Ski access is available via the Olympic Gondola from Les Allues. However, we often recommend the 10-minute drive to Méribel Village, where you’ll find free parking and the Golf chair lift — a quiet and convenient route into both Méribel and Courchevel ski areas. There is also, a free resort bus (meribus) which can take you from Les Allues to Meribel (Chaudanne) where you can rent a ski locker, should you want to leave skis and boots right next door to the main lift rather than use the chalets own boot room. your choice!!!
Après-Ski & Wellness
After a full day on the slopes — whether skiing, boarding, or snow-shoeing — return to the welcoming warmth of the chalet. Kick off your boots, put on some music, pour a glass of wine, and let the aromas from the kitchen awaken your appetite.
For deeper relaxation, make use of the chalet’s infrared sauna, located in the heated boot room across the bridge. Complete with ski lockers and boot/glove warmers, it offers powerful relief for sore muscles. Within 30 minutes, you’ll feel refreshed and renewed — ready for another day of mountain adventure.
An Authentic Alpine Village
Les Allues is everything you imagine a mountain village should be. Stone houses, wooden chalets, narrow winding lanes, and a small chapel at its heart give it an unmistakable charm. Unlike purpose-built resorts, this is a place with a soul — lived in, loved, and unchanged in spirit for generations.
It’s quiet and friendly, with a genuine local feel — you’ll find yourself waving to neighbours, stopping for a chat in the bakery queue, or discovering hidden paths that wind between centuries-old barns.
